Validation
Today I received validation that I am a damn good Graphic Designer. Someone completely ripped off one of my designs and posted it in an ad in the St. Pete Times. #feelsgood

Dear @RedSox fans,
I am seriously concerned for you today. I hope you are all doing well and staying away from razor blades, rope, sleeping pills and other objects that might lead to your demise. You probably think that as a Yankees I fan can’t understand the pain you’re going through, but I still remember that playoff in 2004 when the Yankees choked away the chance to win the World Series to a certain team from Boston. Just because I said that doesn’t mean you should go and get cocky now. I’m just saying I feel your pain. I mean during the off season you could probably pick up a few more Tampa Bay Rays players and maybe try to make a run for it next year.
Ok, with that being said, I guess I should get to the messy part. You guys can SUCK IT. Yes you owned the Yankees this year and I had to hear it from you all year long. But now, you don’t get the chance to show how great a team you are. Sorry.
To sum it up, don’t kill yourself there’s always next year and SUCK IT! #SUCKIT #FUCKBOSTON

So we’re walking out of the movie theater after seeing Contagion and we can hear this chick telling everyone who could listen to her, “That’s why you shouldn’t eat meat.” “That’s why y’all should be vegetarians.” As the movie theater lights came up, it turns out she’s somewhere around 300 pounds. I wanted to shout at her, french fries and candy bars aren’t vegetables….
Just a week away. Looking forward to seeing everyone in Mexico next week. Can’t believe it’s almost here.
A Decade
#apple has now officially been a part of my life for 10 years and I’m still loving it.
Granted, for the first 9 years at IP I was only working PT and only had half the chance to be involved with the typical stuff that happens in every work place. Yet even in this past year, I can honestly say this is the best job I’ve ever had. Right now I feel like I matter at my place of work. I can’t wait to go out to Cupertino in a few weeks and come back with that fresh perspective that everyone comes back with.
I don’t know what the future holds for me, but I’m loving my job right now.
